| Our community started in Solothurn (Switzerland) on 25 July 1961 in a context of migrations. On the path of Blessed G.B. Scalabrini, Bishop of Piacenza (1839-1905), we live our mission as a Secular Institute and are the third Institute of consecrated life in the Scalabrinian Family. | migrants live, and in all kinds of professions and commitments. We seek to help transforming the migratory condition into an experience of Pentecost through the testimony of our life and the spreading of the Gospel. Step by step, on the way of the Crucified and Risen Christ, we are moved by a spirituality of exodus, which opens unexpected spaces to the love of all and each person, appreciated in his/her uniqueness. Living in small international communities, we deepen the experience of communion among diversities while called to perceive and announce the profound ties that bind all people together beyond any barrier, becoming leaven of new relationships in a world that is on the move. |
