As a Secular Institute, we live total consecration to God with the vows of poverty,
chastity, and obedience in a lay lifestyle.
Without external signs that distinguish us, we share the common life of all, also through integration and professions in the most diverse environments and contexts of the multiethnic societies of our time, in order to transform from within—through the witness of life and the proclamation of the gospel—every reality, especially that of migration, into an experience of encounter, welcome, and celebration of every diversity.

Towards ever new frontiers
The same migration has led us towards ever new frontiers: from a presence among Italian migrants in Europe to internal migrants and irregular Latin Americans in Brazil; from Turkish migrants in Germany to non-European immigrants in Italy, to refugees and asylum seekers from all continents in Switzerland and Germany; from Portuguese migrants, offered to an increasingly mobile and precarious European labor market, to the many migrants turned away at the borders with the USA, who in Mexico City experience the traumatic wait for repatriation.
And increasingly among the refugees fleeing conflicts in the Middle East and the African continent who land on the shores of the Mediterranean to reach Switzerland, Germany, and other countries.
