Am 25. Juli 1961, also 56 Jahre nach dem Tod des heiligen Giovanni Battista Scalabrini, hat das Säkularinstitut der Scalabrini-Missionarinnen in Solothurn (Schweiz) seinen Ursprung.

Wir leben in kleinen Gemeinschaften und internationalen Zentren G. B. Scalabrini. Dort möchten wir gemeinsam mit jungen Leuten und Menschen verschiedener Nationalitäten, Kulturen und Religionen, Raum schaffen für jene Gemeinschaft in der Vielfalt, die wir für die ganze Welt ersehnen.
